Air temp:50s in the morning mid to upper 60s mid day dropping to 50s again by 2:00
Water temp 46-48 degrees
Skies: Sunny with brief overcast skies
Got to the river around ten, and started seeing fish immediately. I was fishing the east branch to start just off of cedar point road.Had a few strikes but missed to hook sets, then the fish were nowhere to be found. Spent a couple of hours looking for a better spot with no luck, I ended back where I started. the fish were moved onto beds by now with plenty willing to be caught. I pulled in three within the hour. A storm was blowing in over the lake and the temperature dropped fast. I left the river around four.the fly i caught my fish on was a sz 6 pink bodied bunny leech with a white rabbit strip on the back and a wine ultra wire rib.
